valid8 is a pre-submission audit service for clipping campaigns, operated by Innov8ive Labs, LLC, an Ohio limited liability company trading as Innov8iveLabs, registered agent United States Corporation Agents, Inc., 1991 Crocker Road #600-755, Westlake, OH 44145, USA. By using this website or the service you accept these terms.
This page is the valid8 schedule to the Innov8iveLabs Terms of Service, which cover accounts, billing, liability and governing law across everything we make. Where the two disagree, this page wins for valid8.
Where we have signed a separate written engagement with you, that agreement governs the work and prevails over anything here that conflicts with it.
What the service does
You give us a campaign brief and the clips to be assessed. We grade each clip against that brief and return a report identifying where a clip does or does not satisfy it.
The audit is an opinion formed against the brief you supply. It is not legal advice, not a compliance certification, and not a guarantee that any platform, brand or campaign owner will accept a given clip. Those decisions belong to them and they apply their own judgement.
What you are responsible for
- That you have the right to send us the clips and briefs you submit.
- That the brief you give us is the one you actually want enforced. A thin or outdated brief produces an audit against the wrong standard.
- Your own compliance with the rules of the platforms you publish on and with applicable advertising and disclosure law.
What we are responsible for
Performing the audit with reasonable care and skill, returning the report in the agreed timeframe, keeping your material confidential, and using it only to do the work you asked for. How we handle it is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Ownership
Your clips and briefs remain yours. Submitting them grants us no rights beyond performing the audit.
The reports we produce are yours to use within your own organisation and with the campaign owner concerned. The service itself, the site, the valid8 and Innov8iveLabs names and marks, and the methods behind the audit remain ours. Do not resell the audit as your own product.
Publishing on your behalf
Where you connect a social account so approved content can be published for you, you confirm you are authorised to publish to that account. Nothing is published without an explicit human approval, and you can disconnect at any time.
Acceptable use of this site
- Do not interfere with the site or probe it for vulnerabilities without written permission.
- Do not use automated means to place a disproportionate load on it.
- Do not use it to break the law or infringe anyone's rights.
Found a security problem? Tell us at contact+security@i8l.tech. We will not pursue anyone who reports a genuine issue in good faith and gives us a reasonable chance to fix it.
Fees
Pricing is as quoted to you or as published on this site at the time you engage us. Where a separate engagement sets out fees, that governs.
Liability
We work to make each audit accurate and useful, but we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error free, or that a clip we pass will be accepted by any third party. To the fullest extent the law allows, Innov8iveLabs is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost payouts or rejected submissions, arising from use of the service or this site.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending it
You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access where these terms are breached, where use is unlawful, or where continuing would put us in breach of a platform's rules.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, and the courts of Illinois have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above will change when we do, and continuing to use the service means you accept the updated version.
